Your role will be to lead project execution under oversight of various engineering teams.

Key Qualifications Key Qualifications
  • 3 to 10 years of hands on materials characterization experience with materials used in microelectronics applications
  • Finite Element modeling experience
  • Ability to document and communicate reports to cross functional teams
  • Advanced Technical degree preferred
  • Process and Materials knowledge of SMT is preferred
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with many different projects


Description Description
We are seeking an experienced professional in an R&D role who brings expertise from semiconductor packaging, PCB fabrication, SMT assembly, In this role, you will be exposed to various Physical, Chemical and Mechanical Characterization techniques and equipment that are potentially targeted for Apple products. In addition to characterization, familiarity and expertise in mechanical simulation using industry standard Finite Element Simulation tools is required. Knowledge of SMT techniques is an added plus. A suitable candidate would be engaging in the following: • Physical and Chemical Characterization of Materials. Operating and collecting data from various material characterization equipment • Finite Element Simulation of mechanical product assemblies for microelectronics subsystems • Set up and run confirmation DOEs, data collection and correlate simulation to test data, as well as perform reliability projections • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required for reporting detailed analysis to cross functional teams
