Manager, Clinical Sciences

Regeneron Pharmaceuticals Inc. seeks a Manager, Clinical Sciences (Tarrytown, NY) to analyze clinical trial data for safety and efficacy, and write and present well-reasoned reviews and proposals to cross-functional project teams. Perform multi-factorial analysis of scientific and clinical data to help guide strategic direction for product development. Support ongoing clinical trials by reviewing patient data for safety and coordinating with partner research organizations and hospital sites for treatment and effective monitoring of clinical trial cancer patients according to ICH and GCP guidelines. Evaluate the pharmacodynamics and the pharmacokinetics data to be implemented into clinical trials in coordination with the target discovery and preclinical development groups. Participate in the evaluation and strategic planning of oncology antibody drug development programs. Support clinical development planning for Regeneron’s pipeline drug candidates by assisting in designing and writing clinical trial protocols and other clinical documents. Coordinate with regulatory team, pharmacovigilance, safety, and project management teams to effectively initiate, conduct and monitor cancer drug clinical trials. Conduct detailed literature reviews and analysis of competitive landscape from technological, mechanistic, pharmacological and clinical development perspectives. Based on scientific understandings of technologies, diseases and targets of interest, provide translational sciences team support in identifying early development opportunities. Engage in team
discussions; and contribute to the development and optimization of our knowledge base to facilitate information sharing across the organization. Function well in a high stakes and fast-moving work environment. Mentor and manage others, including in a matrix environment and/or direct report (Trainee or Associate Manager level, depending on organizational needs).
Qualified applicants will have a Masters in Biology, Biotechnology, Immunology or a closely related scientific field and 1 year of experience in immune-oncology, biotechnology or drug development. Experience must include: managing cross-functional project; working with contract research organizations or investigational sites; analyzing competitive landscape from technological, mechanistic, pharmacological and clinical development perspectives; and technical writing. Up to 10% domestic and international travel required.
